About Us
Hi, I'm Ana — a mom to kids with a wide age gap, which means I've lived through nearly every stage of childhood at once. Finding community that fits all of them? That's where it gets complicated.
Somewhere along the way I fell in love with a simple idea: what if every day could feel like an adventure? Our family started living that way — hiking on random Tuesdays, exploring museums on quiet mornings, wandering without a schedule. It felt like a gift. And I wanted to share it.
Our Why
Childhood looks a little different than it used to. The days of kids knocking on each other's doors and playing in the neighborhood until dark have quietly faded. Today's parents are more intentional than ever — posting in groups, sharing their kids' ages and interests, doing everything they can to create the connections and memories they want their children to have.
We're out here trying. We're just doing it in a hundred different places at once.
Scattered across mom groups, co-ops, and microschools — all of us searching for the same thing but never quite finding each other in one place.
Wander Kids is that place. Somewhere every family is welcome — regardless of how you school, which neighborhood you live in, or how old your kids are. A place where children make magical memories and meaningful connections. A place where they can wander together.
Our mission is simple: Bring families together through adventures worth remembering.
